The LHS Blue Belles are a
dance team composed of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who
are expected to boost school spirit in every event in which
they participate.
The Blue Belles perform at half-time of all football games,
home basketball games pep rallies, community events such as
parades, and grand openings. They also compete in dance
competitions statewide as well as nationally.

 The Blue Belles consider themselves the Leander Independent
School District Goodwill Ambassadors. They have raised
thousands of dollars for students in our district who have a
monetary need for serious medical treatment. They also host
clinics and dance camps throughout the year to promote dance
within our district.
The Blue Belles end their 10-month season with their Spring
Show, "Impressions", which is a culmination of all their
hard work during the year put into one show. This special
event sells out every year!
Auditions for the Blue Belles are held in December for the
following school year. Students who are in Dance I, II, or
III are encouraged to tryout. Students who are not
participating in dance classes are still able to audition as
well. |
